Me - a short, marginally pudgy girl who has the mindset of a 14-year-old but who in reality is a thirty-something wife, mother of four, full-time employee of Yada Yada Health Insurance Company, and who likes to cook, read, write and laugh uncontrollably. Sometimes I swear.
Husband - my husband, also thirty-something, 17 inches taller than me, blond and handsome, with patience that defies logic, a sharp dry wit, and who likes to work on cars and play the XBOX. Sometimes he also swears.
Spawn are as follows:
Spawn are as follows:
Boy Spawn 1 (B) - our oldest son. At 17 years old, he knows everything, is never wrong, is way taller than me and loves video games and reading. Has an amazing sense of humor (mainly because it's identical to mine).
Boy Spawn 2 (J) - our second oldest son. This one is 16 years old, a mere 11 months younger than his older brother, and he is quiet, headstrong, incredibly obedient and somewhat wise beyond his years. Also taller than me.
Girl Spawn (M) - our only daughter. 12 years old going on 20. She is a girly girl despite her mother's influence, a hard working, patient and hilarious little lady who loves learning like I love ice cream and she is the only one of our kids who is not the least bit intimidated by her dad. She has less than an inch to go before she's taller than me
. You can check out her blog here.
Boy Spawn 3 (D) - our youngest son. He's basically a 10 year old human wrecking ball with no volume control. He's got dimples that get him out of an awful lot of trouble, a contagious belly laugh and a habit of wearing nothing but boxer shorts whenever he's at home or playing outside with his friends. Sometimes he also swears.
Granny - we lost Granny on December 20th, 2014. Her presence is fiercely missed, but her influences will never leave us.
Jack - our old, lazy Husky mix dog. He was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure and sadly we had to put him to sleep on August 25th, 2015.
Rosie - our 9-ish year old Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix. She is obese, naughty, crazy smart and seemingly always full of noxious gas. I love this dog more than I care to admit.
